Here, at the iTunesRegistry, we believe that a person's dashboard should be so overloaded with crap that getting regular work done becomes the real chore. With that in mind, we are presenting the iTR widget to satisfy your craving for a 225x300 block of poorly written dashcode.

It should be noted that this widget is in the early stages, and pretty much all it does is show you the effective rating of the current track. Now, if you have a look on the back, you'll see all sorts of tasty looking options. Rest assured, none of them work!

However, it also asks for your username and password, and if you supply it, it updates your database (if the song exists in it) so people looking at the Now Playing page can see how hip you are.

That's a great idea. The widget announcement thread was going a little long. I think I'm gonna try it again since it was mentioned that it worked perfectly fine for krewenki. Not fair, bro. :)

The only thing is that it's only showing the artist and album (and it's a popular artist). I haven't tried another artist though.

Nope. Still not showing the track for me, and I'm listening to radiohead. It also says that there's a widget error.

yeah - some of the tracks, with goofy characters, get messed up. Like I said, I'm no JS developer, and Javascript can be very particular about a lot of that stuff.
