How can you be interested in the information on this site without uploading your own library? I can't believe so many people haven't done that. Do you think they just don't know how to or something? I know there's an explanation on how to do it and everything, but that doesn't mean that people will read it.

I don't think he would be poking fun at any such band. The band names could change over time and then it wouldn't make sense anymore.

Na, it was mostly just a test early on to see how well it would even grab such stats. And, I wanted to know how many Thriller listeners there were.

You could mix the top ten with the wierd facts and have the most played song this week, this month, this year, this decade, this century, this millenium...etc.

At this point I don't think you could go back any farther than a month. That's a great idea for the future though. Especially if Mark remembers the day he got this site up. He could do that and put up what the most popular song was exactly a year before. I think that would be fun.

I think a good one would be the amount of music in everybody's library that is unlistened to, or maybe the average amount of music that is unlistened to. I'm sure there's tons of people who have a lot of music they never actually listen to.

As much as I try to at least clock one play count for every song, I'm sure that I still have a few left that just aren't worth 3 minutes of my life to listen to. Great idea.

Yeah, there are plenty of songs that will probably never get a play count. They probably did at some point, like before I changed computers or wiped my drive.
